What you can count on

No pressure and no ambiguity — just clear communication and steady hands at each stage of the work.

Written quotes before work starts

Labour and parts are itemised separately. Nothing begins without your approval of the cost and scope.

Honest turnaround ranges

Timelines are always given as ranges, not fixed dates. If they change, you receive a written update promptly.

Parts sourced with care

For discontinued references, we locate components and describe any visual differences before fitting anything to your piece.

Clear about what we decline

Work outside our scope is referred elsewhere rather than attempted. Knowing the limits is part of doing the job well.

Common questions

Things people usually ask

How do I get a quote for a repair?
Use the contact form or call us. Describe the watch — make, model if known, and what you have noticed. We may ask for a few photos before giving a cost range. If you bring the piece in person, we can usually provide an initial assessment at the same visit.
How long does a complete overhaul take?
It depends on parts availability. For watches with stocked components, four to eight weeks is a reasonable range. When parts need sourcing from suppliers, we provide a written estimate and update you in writing if anything changes. Work can be paused at any point while you decide on a sourced component.
Do you work on all watch brands?
We work primarily on mechanical watches from the 1960s to 1990s — both Swiss and Japanese movements. Quartz movements are assessed case by case. If a piece falls outside what we can handle well, we will say so and suggest where to take it instead.
What does the bracelet restoration cover?
It includes link tightening, pin and screw replacement, clasp refinishing, and alignment correction. The clasp is disassembled and cleaned as part of the process. If original replacement links are not available, we will describe the alternatives clearly before proceeding.
What should I know about storing watches in Malaysia's climate?
Coastal and inland conditions differ. High humidity accelerates seal ageing, and a watch left unworn for a long time can develop lubricant issues. Our storage advice visit covers all of this — including whether a winder is useful for your particular pieces, and a check for early signs of moisture ingress.
Is the price the same if parts are difficult to find?
No — parts sourcing is quoted separately from labour so you can see exactly what each element costs. If a part proves difficult to obtain or comes in above the initial estimate, we contact you before ordering. You are never charged for something you did not agree to.
